Link to hand

Best hand tourney. Double seems to be somewhere outside the game park. Especially when you consider that partner often bids 3S with 4-4 in the majors and the thought of playing a 4-3 spade fit instead of a 6-4 heart fit, ouch. Also, it is really light with basically no defence if I were to pass.

Nowhere near the 14 TP it supposed to have- only 10TP. Though you shouldn't be counting your KQxx of diamonds as being suitable for a spades contract especially given GIB standard practice to double with as little as 3 of each major so 3NT should be your first choice- hopefully GIB will put you into 4H from there.

The problem is with a rule which GIB finds with good distribution, but lower requirements of points, it will be improved.
