I asked about this in another thread, but it was a side-question that never got answered, so I decided to try again. What are GIB's criteria for opening 2♦ in first seat?

It seems that the criteria left to be too high.

To open 2♦ with the same hand, GIB needs +JT in diamonds to be strong suit.

It will be lined to the 2♥/2♠ openings. As with the same hand, but that length to be in hearts or spades GIB would open 2weak major.
