I think I will pass. It is tempting to dbl to compete, but pd rates to have 5 Hearts, we may not play very well in spade or diamond. More importantly, they may stay at 3H, or bid to 4H and goes down.

I would bid 2♠ previous round.
My jump overcalls are quite strong at this vulnerability.
-I play weak nt and I dont want other source of -800 or -1100. :lol:
-It can be more difficult for opps to find good defence against our game e.g. 5♥ here.
-Bidding over my sound preempt can be dangerous.

the ops have a 9 card heart fit, your partner has 2 spades, giving you guys 8... outside of that, you're vulnerable and have to bid 3s... i'd pass, but i'd have been tempted to overcall 2s on the first round

I'm in to 3S. I can hardly believe we don't have a fit, and this might induce opps into a 4H that rates not to make (and can even be doubled for a phone nr.).
