If, in playing the Robot Race Best Hand tourneys, you just keep getting partscore battles (GIB Oppoenent opens, partscore is CLEARLY the limit of the hand), what is the best strategy. You can't pass out if the opponent opens.
A: Play as quick as possible, as many hands as possible, so those +100s, +110s, +140s will add up enough to outscore the games and slams at the other tables when they get better cards.
B: Watch the play to maxamize the chance of plus scores.
C: Bid game, hoping for the 10% maricle chance that it somehow makes.
D: Hope not to get hands like these in such tourneys.
I think it's D. I tend to do well in partscore hands in best hand, but it doesn't pay off, and like 70% of my hands in these tourneys are partscores. I wonder how my sweating myself off to get the +50 to set 3H (which would be the top score if it were Matchpoints) when other tables are scoring +990 making 6NT.
Input, please.

D is obviously best, but there's not much you can do about it. So among the strategies you can actually apply, I go with A. In robot races, it's the games and slams that usually make the difference between coming in the money or not.
