Is the double in this auction a lightner double?

Contract is cold without a spade lead and dead with one but it all hinges on the interpretation of the double.

Without a Dbl, partner will lead your bid suit.

DBL says: "Don't lead my suit".... and from the bidding, the logical one to lead is .

two4bridge describes what he believes the double means. Good job.

Lightner Doubles are another "name game" peeve. Theodore invented the double strictly for use vs. slam contracts.

All of the above and more common today that the double says, whatever your natural lead was before the double, look at your hand and find something else.
