Leading a club. Spade looks silly and heart might be a give-away. Diamond is out of the question, so that leaves a club.

I would have pulled pard's dbl. If this goes 1 down I'll be the happiest man on the room... :P

At the table, my partner led a spade (I think small, but I'm not certain) which allowed declarer to make for 710. (actually he could make +1 for 810 double dummy)

Either a heart or a club lead would allow us to take the first 4 tricks. The full hand was:



After the hand my partner suggested he should have made a weak jump overcall. I had been expecting a bit more defence from partner when I doubled - hoping for 2 down and 500.
