Ick... gotta find a first bid as South...
I picked 3 despite the fact that the description explicitly includes "2-H"; I hoped to be able to do something about that later.

I wish I had written down the description of what 2 would have meant; I just remember that I didn't think it fit my hand.

Bottom line: apparently, GIB thinks that introducing a new suit here specifically denies having 3-card support. Hopefully this can be changed.

What you should worry more is the explanation of 4C to show 1C+, which is just a huge nonsense.
