forums very slow from mobile

My smartphone browser routinely freezes (I would say about 75% of the time, sometimes it just slows down) when I try to open a topic that has a handviewer diagram inserted. This feels odd because I have no trouble watching vugraph from it (via bridgebase.com/mobile). Is there a solution to this? This happens even when I have a very good connection.

Samsung Galaxy S2
Android 2.3 I think
