Does anyone know whether it will be possible to pay the entry fees for the Transnational Teams by credit card?

(i) it is very likely to be possible.
(ii) if it is not possible, I have a Dutch debit card which I am certain will work (and if it doesn't I can go to the bank and withdraw the funds) and will pay for you (temporarily)

Apparently not. According to the Conditions of Contest on the event website:

Quote

26. Entry Fees
26.1 Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup & d’Orsi Seniors Bowl € 3,200
26.2 Transnational Teams: € 1,200
Players & NPCs (but not coaches) eliminated from the Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup or d’Orsi Seniors Bowl may form new Open teams and will receive free entry provided no players who have not participated in these events are added.
In the event that a team is made up from players who have not participated in the three main events, with players from these events added to the team, the charges will be as follows :
A team with four new players & one or two eliminated players:€ 1,200
A team with three new players & up to three eliminated players :€ 960
A team with 2 new players & up to four eliminated players :€ 640
A team with 1 new player & up to five eliminated players :€ 320
The entry fees must be paid by bank transfer to the WBF. Bank information will be forwarded to NBOs and published on the WBF and the ECatsBridge Web Sites.

Mind you the same Conditions of Contest state that the event will start in the "late afternoon" when the published start time is 8.30pm.

Anna Gudge tells me that we can pay at the venue. In my experience that is likely to trump anything that might be written in the CoC. (She also didn't know whether credit-card payments would be allowed.)

ugh... starting at 8:30? I won't make it then. The site also says that only 2 matches are played on monday, so I guess the late afternoon is right

I'm reliably (but unofficially) informed that you will be able to pay by credit card.

Although the EBL have taken credit cards for a while and did so in Poznan for example the WBF have been awkward and refused in Sao Paulo in 2009. There is some hope they may have entered the C20th if not the C21st.

Credit cards are soooo 20th century. Modern folks use iDeal.

With the WBF, moving away from sea shells would be a start!

I see no contradiction there. :P
