How to get GIB to compete over your NT overcall? what does it take

Pass 1♥ 1NT 2♥
passed out

only north that seemed to take a bid on this hand were hands where south overcalled 4 card spade suit or
made off beat take out double.

getting back to lebensol
2♠ competitive
3♠ forcing or invitational
2NT/3♠ forcing or invitational

seems like alot to give up on the hand as there may be some who open 2♠ on the hand if there
are some humans sitting north or controls are set to not thinking much :rolleyes:

so if GIB wouldnt bid on the other hand why is it worth a call on this one?

You are lucky .. for me GIB usually has only 4 spades on this auction. I'd take Jxxxx in a heartbeat.

On a constructive note .. why does GIB like to Bid 4 card spade suits over NT interference?
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it then how bad a decision could it really be?

It passes a heck of a lot of doubles in this auction and expects you to too, so it has to make 4 card overcalls to compete...
