This maybe has already been mentioned, but I didn't see it when scanning the forum. I like to sub for tournaments, but do not particularly like Team matches one team versus another. I think it would be useful to have some options to further define those tournies you wish to sub in (or avoid). Maybe present check boxes for ACBL, BBO, Teams, etc. Just some way of avoiding pickup team matches.

I realize this is not what you propose, but it is possible to sign up as a sub for one particular tournament. That means you can go to all tourneys, list Running tourneys, and register for the first 3-4 with most tables.

This is already doable. Go to the category of tournaments you are interested in, then click the "running" button (next to where it says "pending" in red). Then click "tables" for the tourney you are interested in, and there will be a "substitute" button in the lower left of the pane.
