so many things on this hand, weird play of 10♦
then with 9 easy tricks block of the spade suit
GIB was consistent and made this play I think 4 or 5 times
5 times peeps bid 2♠ which GIB north passed
people who got to 4♠ by leb denying heart stopper -fast way by 3♥ bid
3NT players got there off of auction where there was a double of 2♥with North GIB jumping to 3NT

this is hand on earlier post where I asked about GIBs methods over Cappelleti bids
I originally thought x showed spades.....so if GIB wont raise with max and 4 card support
something has to be forcing....sorry about bringing this up again since I started a thread on that
but after going over this hand and seeing the play....amazement

1N-(2♥)-3♥ is Stayman.
1N-(2♥)-2N-3♣-3♠ and 1N-(2♥)-3♠, as you pointed out in another thread, show 5+ spades, invitational and forcing, respectively.

But why that 10♦ play?
We have 9 tricks and block the ♠ suit!
For sone reason this hand triggered alot of goofiness by GIB

I suspect GIB was "sure" East was at least 5-5 in the reds, so it was unreachable after the ducking the first diamond. And blocking the spades wasn't a problem because clubs would provide an entry to hand.
