I think GIB plays fast arrival, so 3 would be a minimum.

Maybe 4 would get GIB to cue bid his diamonds.

You can see how GIB will interprete a bid by hovering your mouse over the bid before selecting it.

In this auction 3 is Cue: limit raise or better -- 3+ ; 11+ total points
As responses:
3;3 would be both minimal hands, just 3 would promise some length there.

4 would be stronger hand.
4;4 would be longer suits promised.
4 will promise Ace/void and maximum opening strength.

I didnt realize that, is that in all versions of GIB?
