Double. Pass isn't forcing here (for me anyway), and partner could have shown a good game raise via a different route, so slam looks remote.

Dbl, lead spades. Note that pard is like 99% to have a spade void and thus should have some backup in the minors to help stop establishment of dummy's side suit.

Doubling and leading a heart. Why are we helping declarer draw trump? If we need to do so, we can always do it later.

Agree. In the best of all possible worlds (for our side), declarer may lose control of the hand if we lead hearts.

I have only 1♦ loser, no ♠ losers and ♣Axx in support for partner. I'd bid 5♥.

Well, I disagree with the posters here. I would bid 5H on this hand. How many defensive tricks has your side got? The DK is of dubious value. If I did double, then I would certainly hope for hearts being led at every opportunity.
Over a fit jump I would bid 5C. My first thought was 4NT KC, but this is unlikely to help me, and if pd did make a fit jump he really should have an Ace. I hope he gets the message and bids 6H.

Depends on how strong you play the fit bid. Last time the auction started this way my partner had x xxxx xx K10xxxx which was certainly in line with all I thought he had shown.
(it was the right thing to do: opener found the good 7H save against 6S)

I won't explain what actually happened, since a) partner has way too much for 4H, and b) some of the later bidding from partner was suicidal in the extreme, but partner doesn't need very much here for 5H to be good, and at the vulnerability I didn't think we'd get rich defending 4S X.

I think Keynes noticed people tend to have herd-like behaviours. This kind of explains creation of speculative bubbles and crashes.

Apparently, the tendency isn't limited to the stock market :)
