the 5 of is led, opps play 4th best leads. How do you continue?

If it makes any difference in your consideration at all, there are 5 tables in total, and most of the field is relatively weak and you expect only 1 other pair to be your match in skill level or better.

Hint: A of is on your left, AQ and K on your right. If you lead the J, West wins and returns another . If you lead a off the table, East ducks.

Is that the reason why I overcalled 1NT with such a lousy hand? I'd win in dummy and play a club to the J. Then a heart to the J in dummy. If it wins a spade from dummy.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

Besides playing for fun, most people also like to play bridge to win

Heart jack. After LHO takes this and plays back a diamond, duck this. Then:

- They continue diamonds: disc a spade and play club back to the jack. Cash hearts and play two more rounds of clubs to get a spade at the end.
- They switch: take it and at some stage advance the club jack from hand.
