All white, teams, you hold:

A532
AK4
T32
932

You're the dealer (Playing 2/1, would you open?):

Pa-Pa-Pa-1
???

Do you double?

Pa-Pa-Pa-1
Pa-1-Pa-Pa
???

Do you re-open?

It never happened to me to pass a 5 controls hand (or to wonder about).

I'd open in first seat, but pass is fine.
I'd pass over 1, and don't like double.
I'd bid 1NT when 1 comes back to me.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

I'd open a weak nt if available in 1st, pass if playing strong nt.

I'd pass the 1 bid as I don't like minimum off shape doubles.

I'd double the 1 as I don't mind as much in the balancing seat, and the 4 are quite good. If the K was instead the K I'd bid 1 instead of double.

Minimum? Probably just poor wording but obv you have a super max in terms of a passed hand for an offshape double... I guess you just don't like offshape doubles as a PH.

I also find it interesting that you would open a weak NT if possible but otherwise pass, personally I'd rather open 1C than a weak NT with this hand, obv 1C is safer and a weak NT is more preemptive but with AK A I don't think preempting is that important, and it's much more likely if we get doubled in something that they can't make anything, or if partner bids a lot our hand will be a disappointment...but I would pass either way.

I definitely like Xing 1C.

I would balanced over 1H, I prefer double.

Yes. I mean more I need a lot more to make an offshape double, and basically no passed hands would do it. I know it isn't as mainstream a style, but I like the shape to be mostly right for flat hands.

It probably reflects our different opponents, but I really like all auctions where I get to open 1nt. Both for preemption and for winning the race to 1nt white. It isn't so much to block opponents from finding their game, as it is to have them make bad decisions over the 1nt, which my opponents do a lot.

I'd pass, double, and abstain.

If you plopped me down in someone's seat who had passed twice, I'd pass again to honor his fighting spirit.
