Display of "Previous Fields" in Profile

When viewing a player's profile in the Forum, there is a heading "Previous Fields" which has three fields listed: "Preferred Systems", "Preferred Conventions/System Notes", and "Real Name". Why are these called "Previous Fields"?

It appears that we cannot add anything to "Preferred Conventions/System Notes", and for those of us who have nothing there, our Real Name shows up where that field's response should be. Clearly low priority to fix this, but it also seems like low time investment needed. Thanks!

I presume "previous" refers to the fact that the old forums had these fields. The new forums don't, but they retained the information by copying it all into this "previous fields" field.

Why would we not want Real Name as a current (though optional) field?
