Here's a preview of good things to come. A new GIB version will be released soon. Among the more significant improvements in this upgrade:

-Robot will now be more conservative after stayman and game invitation in opener's major.

-Robot will now be more conservative about choosing to compete with Lebenshol.

-Robot will be smarter about reverses that are also cue bids.

-Robot will be smarter about responders 4 minor rebid after a 2NT opener, and about opener's subsequent calls.

-Robot will be smarter about raising responder's heart suit after the sequence 1S-P-2H-P

-Robot will be smarter after stayman is doubled/redoubled.

The actual release will be announced in BBO news when it happens.

These all sound nice, although it seems like the problems that get the most complaints here are not being addressed. But maybe the above issues have been reported via Robot Report, not the forum.

Issues reported here will be fixed too. :) It's based on how major the problems are and how fast it would be to fix.

I have to agree with Barmar: this forum is full of examples of GIB doing horrible things, or providing clearly incorrect descriptions of bids. It's discouraging to see a long list of updates that appears to not include any of the things that have been reported/requested here.

Note the "more significant". There is a long list of bugfixes too.
