I have found that with the new software, when quoting a post any imbedded quotes get lost. How can these be made to show up in the new post?
How I do this:
I first reply on the inner post and Copy all text.
Then I reply to the second post and Paste the copied text in it.
I don't think that there is a more automatic way

That is a shame. It was so simple with the old software.

Apparently the "multiquote" button is now identical in effect as the "reply" button?
The only change on my computer that I imagine could possibly have anything to do with this is that I recently upgraded my Internet Explorer from version 8 to version 9?
Comments anybody?

I think you need to hit "reply" after hitting "multiquote".
Multiquote doesn't work in fast reply (the convenient box at the bottom)

No that is not the problem.
I used to press "multiquote" in each post from which I wanted to quote, and then finally press the "Add Reply" button below (and outside) the last message shown. The immediate effect was that each "multiquote" button changed color when pressed.
Now the effect of pressing "multiquote" in a message is exactly the same as of pressing "reply" in that message.

But I got around it by enabling the Compatibility View.
Will watch for patches/updates, but meanwhile just do that.

Others seem to have no problem, so there must be a way.
