Partner opens 1 (2+), RHO pre-empts 3, what's your bidding plan holding QJTxxxx AKTxxx - -?
4 is majors or slammish clubs.

And a side question, how many deals will it take for me to see 76 again?

My longest suit is spades. The minimum spade bid is forcing. I would do that.

You get a 7-6 hand about once every 17970 hands.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

1. I'll use the 4 gadget, probably to follow-up with 5NT + pull 6 to 6.

2. @gwnn: "You get a 7-6 hand about once every 17970 hands." My sim gave a bit more than that, probably due to RHO holding 7 diamonds. I got:

6 hands out of 25591 (~0,023)%

For short, less than 1 hand in 4000.

Perhaps you counted all four hands whereagles, I am not happy if my rho lho or cho got a 7-6. I want to have all the fun. The number I gave is correct, both because I never make maths mistakes and because I checked it on wikipedia or somewhere else.

I don't know if RHO having 7 diamonds affects odds that much, but that's not what the opening poster asked.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Yeah, I did constrained the sim to opener having a 1 opener and rho 7 diamonds and weak hand.

I thought that was what Free Flameous was talking about lol.

That seems a terrible agreement. Partner won't know which one you have when the opponents raise to 5.
