If we don't get intervention, it's übereasy to find 6 with the right tools imo.

Personnally I don't think West has an opening hand. A weak NT or a weak opening with both Majors perhaps, but not a 1 opener for me.

Does it make? Can you count to 12 Jimmy? :) Or only till 1 (your loser)? :P I think it's laydown if you play the right, which I will do cause I'll put the Q behind the K as usual, and that's where it is :D

actually i'm thinking south should open 1nt :) yup, it's a tad dangerous... bidding could go something like

S N
1NT 2D (game force)
3S 4C (exactly 3253, control ask)
4D 4H (2/3 controls, spiral scan)
4NT 5C (top diamond no top spade, scanning)
5H 6C (top club no top heart, responder knows opener's hand)

i agree that west has a 1NT opening but not a 1D opening, i also think passing in the south seat is probably the right action here (that's a little too weak even for me, vulnerable), which means there's almost no chance to find the slam (especially if west opens 1NT)... with 1NT by west instead of 1D, N/S probably reach 4S but it depends on their system over a mini NT

You ask your questions in a strange way...
anyway it depend on many things, probebly would get there without interference since we have 28 hcp + enough shape to make slam. the hands here fit badly and still slam is fine, meaning if nornth know about 10 hcp in south he should get to slam.
About the play, nothing special here , if you lose a club ur 1 down if u dont u makes. It depend on the bidding, the normal play is the K (not because the Q is always after the K but because it works vs 4-0) and then the A.

Suppose North begins with a Raptor 1NT ..... I'm not sure how they would procede, but it's more accurate than a double.

West should open 1 instead of 1. A light opening in 3rd seat should be lead-directing.

Isn't the hand a bit strong for a Raptor? I think north should bid 2 instead of 2 to show a big hand with .

6 makes because West is more likely to have the Q so correct is small to the K first and then you don't even have to guess anymore. "Q behind the K" is an urban legend. Forget about it.

it might be too strong, but i don't think so... she always has a diamond cuebid to force the action, if needed

Playing with this South I think you would be lucky to bid to the right suit, let alone the right denomination. What an awful pass of 1D! Clear cut 1NT bid. Now Nth bids 3C and you are off.

I'm surprised it took 9 posts for somebody to point this out B)
I tend to lead fourth best - as opposed to the best suit, the second best suit, or the third best suit for our side

I start the north hand with a top on value 1NT (raptor). South know knows about the club fit, and the way I play, is wau too good for 2C.

I could bid 2D to ask for partners major, I could bid 2S as pass/correct (to play in 4/3 major fit). I could bid 2NT either game force in the minor or weak signoff in the minor. I have neither of those. I play 2d, so I iid 3. oddly enough invintational with club support.

After the club raise, we are on our way to a very nice 6C contract. Bidding likely to be something like...

(P)- Ps - (1D) - 1NT
(P)-3C - (P) - 3D
(P)-3NT-(P) - 4C
(P)-4D-(P) - 6C
All pass

Can I make it? Well, you will figure WEST for at most 4H and 4S on the bidding. These are most. That gives EAST at least 6H and and 2S. It is hard to place teh diamonds. But the majors seem to be split 8-8 between them, or EAST has more. West opened, but it was thrid seat. But his daimonds suit is very yucky. He is unlikely to have opened it as lead directional, so I would play him for full or near full opener. The most he could have is 10 hcp without the club queen, so I would start clubs wth the king, and play antoher club. When the queen shows, all problems over. 1D, 1H, 4S, 6C.
