I think my 3♣ rebid shows 15- total points, NOT 12- like it said. My 3♣ rebid should also deny a 4-card major, so 3M should be asking for a stopper. I bet GIB playing 3NT makes.

Chas, I don't think 3C is a good bid by you. Did you consider 2NT?
