I am hoping to use a mobile wireless router to use my netbook to access BBO as the location I am at lacks Wifi.

Can someone give me an idea what sort of bitrate is involved for using the software and the client? I want to determine what access plan is reasonable for this purpos.

Thanks, WrecksVee

Not very technical, but this is what my modem says:

Data traffic while playing and occasionally chatting on BBO (1h 30 mins)

On the Web version: Total Volume: 3 MB; Received Data: 3 MB; Sent Data: 420 kB.
On the Windows version: Total Volume: 8 MB; Received Data: 7 MB; Sent Data: 728 kB.

This for 1h 30min session. Web version is lighter.

Hey there

The best way to determine this is to load a freeware packet analyzer onto your system and measure things for yourself.
There are a number of good ones that can be downloaded for free.
