There seems to be a glitch (at least in my computer) that makes me more likely to disconnect while playing in a robot tourney, but this not the big deal. THIS is:

After returning from disconnects or accidental log-offs, GIB W sometimes takes as long as THREE WHOLE MINUTES to make ONE bid after a disconnect. The clock doesn't move during this whole time, and when GIB W (the GIB LHO) finally does make a bid, either the screen flashes whith GIB N and GIB E instantly biddding but the clock instantly ticking down THREE slots (from 10 to 7, FE), or GIB N and GIB E bid really quickly but the clock quickly counts down the three minutes.

In any event, what takes the GIB LHO so long to make a bid after returning from a disconnect? You've already lost about one to two minutes from the disconnect, why add salt to the would by losing an additional THREE minutes from GIB slow bidding after a disonnect?

Not sure if it is the same problem I have encountered but if it is, then my impression is that it helps to close the bbo tab and clear the browser cache before connection to bbo again. (I am using the web client).

So, the disconnects and slow GIB bidding when immediately returning from disconnects are BOTH likely more of an issue with my server than a BBO issue? I thought that might be the case.

Still, between logging back on to BBO taking about two minutes, if it takes the GIBs three minutes on one round of bidding plus the expected two minutes or so to play out the hand (the disconnect usually happens when I'm about to make my first round bid of the hand), it usually takes like seven or eight minutes total to play the one hand. The two minute wait to log in is expected, the disconnects might just be a glitch that could happen once in a while, but I would expect the GIB LHO to at most take 20-30 seconds more than usual to make his next bid.

Maybe I have to figure out how to delete the LIN files if I have too many of them.
