Yes, you didn't mention cheating at all in the other thread.
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

Please email suspicious hands to abuse@bridgebase.com

The Forums are not a place to publicly investigate cheating allegations.

If you wanna find out what other people think about a bid or a play, post the hand as a problem, or submit a poll (without any allusions to UI).

To call anyone a Cheat or use the term Cheating is a NO-NO IMHO and should not be written in a Forum

The only way and correct way is to

a Bring Suspicions to the attention of the TD

b Report same to Abuse

I have not nominated any person as a cheat--the subject was "CHEATING"

and i realise how to report to the powers to be..im alerting other
BBO players that cheating is going on hence another person
has raised the very same subject

You cannot do this. You are not supposed to alert anyone, except the Abuse Department.

What if your suspicions are NOT proven to be true? The rock is thrown anyway, even if it turns out there was nothing suspicious going on and nobody was cheating. That simply leaves the other members with the bad impression that BBO is a place crawling with cheaters and noone gives a damn about it.

So please do NOT alert anyone. As i said before, the Forums are not a place to publicly investigate cheating.

I am afraid that you will just have to take our word for it: we do take cheating very seriously. We do investigate a lot. We do take the necessary measures to stop it.

And yes. None of this is public.

This was just hashed out in another thread. Can we start nuking these threads?

I don't know what your point is pirate. You know quite well how to get suspects to our attention. First off, reporting here does not help, though it may help you vent. :)
And second, the point of this thread seems to be just to draw attention to the other thread.

Please report the hands (find more suspicious ones if you can too, please, the more the merrier) and email to abuse@. This thread begs to be closed.
