I think that GIB's 10 HCP is rather high for a single raise; and the note does even say "total points", so presumably it should have added a point for its ruffing value and got to 11. Also, I don't think the bot recognises the value of aces and kings, making this too good even for 10. However, I think that the bot's real problem is that it doesn't have the 4-card support normally required for a limit raise. The usual treatment with a hand like this is to bid 1♠ and then jump in hearts. Maybe GIB has a special protocol to prevent, as much as possible, its playing the hands.

Don't worry, humans will make a limit raise on a decent 9.

It's getting late and I'm getting old... I didn't even notice the biddable four-card spade suit; I was focusing on the overall strength.
