Maybe I was a little gun-shy after going down one in 6 on two consecutive hands (once due to a 5-0 trump split), but I think the explanations could be better here.

4 is explained as "4+D; 5+S; 11-21HCP; 12-22 total points". Shouldn't 4 show extras, since a simple raise to 3 was available? Or, maybe 4 shows diamond support and a club feature, in which case it needn't include extras? Either way, the description needs work. What would 4 show instead of 4?

I wanted to bid 4 over 4, but the system said this would show 19+ total points. Can't this be cut back a little, since most people would make that bid with this hand? (Several other players did make the bid, ignoring the description.)

North's 5 bid is described as "4+D; 5+S; 11+HCP; 12-16 total points". How many total points does he have?
