Scoring: IMP

West North East South

 -     1    Pass  1
 Pass  2    Pass  4
 Pass  Pass  Pass

Can someone tell me if 4!H bid was changed to 3!s would this be a splinter bid?

it does not matter about values, the question is only would 3!s be a splinbter

I think it would be in most partnerships who played splinters in other sequences

I would interpret 3 to be splinter, especially in a no-competive auction.

Here's a question for the experts...how do you define 2? is that equal length in the majors looking for 4351, or is it looking for a spade stopper for 3NT?

Help suit trial, long suit trial, short suit trial, whatever trial you agreed :D

3 would be a splinter, but since I can't see a slam opposite 1 - 1 - 2 I won't use one here.

2 needs agreement, without any it shows a long suit trial (so simply natural and game try). I play that it asks for distribution (responses: singleton, 5422 or balanced).
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do!
