Switcheroo, now known as 'Rotate generated deals 180 degrees', now works as you would want on the web client at a bidding table.

In conjunction with a dealer script, I generate specific hands for North and South and then set the dealer to be North on the General tab. The 'Rotate ...' option then generates the hands and switches them as appropriate, so that the first hand to bid gets the hand intended for North.

The advantage of this option is when you wish to practise something like a 1NT opener with random hands opposite. Now you can set the North hand to be the 1NT hand, but this will be given to South when it is South's turn to open so that both partners get to practise.

Thanks Fred!

Another thread that needs to be moved to a BBO-specific forum.

I would think that this new functionality would help bridge in general.

How would I use it when reading Right Through the Pack (for example)?
