If the field is very weak, 800 is still a bottom, so pass and paray. If its weak we are trading our 25% in 6♥ for a 40% in -800 or maybe 0% in 7♥, also possible 1 down in 7♥ but very unlikelly. We are toasted anyway, so I would just pass.

You can either put down the pass card or the ace of spades.
I once yelled at my partner for discarding the 'wrong' card when he was subjected to a squeeze that I allowed by giving the wrong count with too high a card. Now he's allowed to pitch aces when the opponents have the king in the dummy. At trick 2. When he could have followed suit. And blame me.

Not true, you can also Dbl for fun or lead ♠K for example.

I pass, on this auction we'll never be able to figure out what they have. Perhaps that's a good reason to bid 6♠, but I have a feeling they are making 7.
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

Why did I bid 1♠? Was I trying to be cute?

Overcall 4S the first time, and now bid 6S.
People are really passing 6H?
Where do you get these numbers? If we get 25 % for 6H and 0 % for 7H, we must get at least 50 % for saving right? (25 % for 6H means half the field is in 6H, half the field is in something below that). So that is 50 % if the rest of the field is in game. But why do you think no one else will save? And why is picking up a quarter of a board with one obvious bid worth nothing to you, that is a big pickup?
I also don't understand the pessimism that the field will not bid slam. Our opponents are flight C, and they bid slam. Presumably flight C is the worst flight we'll see in the event, and the other people are C, B, or A. If our flight C opponents had no problem bidding this slam, why should the rest of the field, which is flight C or better?
When flight C opps jump to slam here, they are more likely to make it, not less likely to make it (as you imply). We have a lock good save, and it is just extremely likely LHO has a spade void. The bigger problem is them bidding 7H, and if the whole field is in seven then obviously we do well to pass here. IMO the flight C opps are just not going to bid 7 on an auction like this. LHO probably won't know that pass shows a first round control (how sophisticated can his bidding be, he jumped to 6H), and will just double us. If they do bid 7, we might be able to do fine saving in 7S esp if it goes for only 1400 (so we beat 1460), or partner might have a slow trick to beat it. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it since I think it's unlikely.

What is this 1S over call all about, sure looks like 4S bid to me. If you bid 4S you have a partner there to help your side make a decent decision.

I guess that you only bid 6♠ if you started with 1 and not if you started with 4?
Yes this is true, if I overcalled 4 I would feel like partner would save a lot of the time it was right. At the very least it would be his decision since I showed the rough nature of my hand. Also, when you overcall 4 you force LHO to bid 5 or 6 so his 6 bid in general is a lot less strong than bidding it over 1 where he had plenty of room if he was unsure.
