Forums has started signing me out after some period of inactivity. Is this the normal behaviour.

I have the remember me box ticked.

This morning it did so after around one hour of inactivity.

I think this is normal for this forum. I think "Remember me" just means that it will fill in your username automatically when you return, not that it keeps you signed in.

It certainly remembers me for weeks at a time. Of course, having a static IP might help.

Like Cascade, at my home PC, the forums do not remember me, even though I've checked the tickbox "remember me".

At the bridge club, it does remember me.

I have no idea why this is.

I leave forums on, idle for hours a time and don't get logged out.
It always remembers me when I start a new session, only if I use Sign Out do I ever
need to log back in.
