What a miserable hand. I almost want to sit for it just because I think that -470 or -570 may be our lowest negative score at this point. I would bid 2N planning on passing 3, however 2 is a close second.

I would be more nervous at IMPs. At MP this is clear-cut. This action doesn't have to work out EVERY TIME, it just need to gain often enough.

No I am not happy. I would be worried about anyone who was.

It would be useful to know what the x'x are in trump...as little as the 8 would make me feel a tiny bit better.

At mps, it is (I think) a clear pass. At imps, well I have become increasingly of the view that I have been too worried about -470, but even so I think I would bid 2n and pass 3...mostly because once in a while partner bids something else, and now I have a good hand.
