In my mind, we should display such as "MP", or "IMP" under the column "More" when you searching for a table to play. Many times, after we joined a table, and we found the scoring type is not what we are looking for.

The Windows version has a "Scoring" column which displays the type for each table.

"More" does display what kind of table it is. However, you need to click it to see.
The fastest way to get a game with your partner since you seem to have one, is "Help me find a game", where you can choose MP or IMP under "preferences", and still join with partner. This method means you cannot (yet) choose/filter opponents.
The other way is to set up a table yourself. That will give you most control over who gets to sit.
