Most cuebids are not Alertable. However, any cuebid which conveys a very unusual or unexpected meaning still requires an Alert.
Does this apply to control showing cue-bids or is it restricted to bids in the opponents' suits?
What about in an auction where suit agreement is implicit and another player may not even realize you have slipped into cuebidding?

4♣ 4♦ ...
After a transfer auction is their any need to alert (including delayed) 4♣ and 4♦?
I certainly would where I play. And I checked with an ACBL player and he said that he did too but after I raised the question he said maybe he didn't need to.
