When I create a tournament in the web browser, in the option "upload pre-deal hands, My favourite hands appear. I don't know how to save there the hands there or where I must save the hands I selected from a file in my PC. Is there a special file to do it? Also, when I want to "exclude" or "include" members, a window pops up where I should type the names... and its impossible. Is there a way to do it other than un-logging from web browser, going into windows version and do it in the "old way"?

Creating include and exclude lists in the web-client should be very easy for you. If you explain why you find it "impossible", I will try to help.

The method of specifying prepared hands does not involve referencing a file on your PC. The web-client has a built-in facility that allows you to save hands (either those that were previously played on BBO or those that you typed in with an editor) into "folders" that you create. So, for each tournament in which you want to specify prepared hands, create a folder and then fill that folder with the hands that you want for the tournament in question.

Assuming that you plan to type in the hands yourself, you can do this by clicking on the blue "My BBO" button at the top of the screen, then "Hands and results" in the menu that appears, and then "Hand editor" in the window that pops up. You should be able to figure things out from there, but if you have any questions or require more explicit instructions, I suggest you e-mail support@bridgebase.com.

Hi Fred,

To create a include(exclude)-list is easy. <_<
BUT is it possible to save the list for further use in another tournament?
I have a list of my students on my HD, which I upload for each teaching tourney. UP to now I do this with V5.2.6 and it works fine.

Is it possible to transfer my lists from V5.2.6 to the web-client?
Is it possible to create a list on the web-client, that is not only for one tournament?

Thanks

Al
