Hi,

I was hosting a team match last night. Table one finished first and I was kibbing table two when the team match timed out. I use the web client. As far as I can tell there is no mention of timing issues anywhere in the set up. How can I keep this from happening? I've hosted many team matches and I've never had one time out. Has the web client been changed in some way?

The other question is about having a co-host. Is it possible to have a co host using the web client? Some of the team match series (IAC for instance) require you to have the director of the series be a co host. If it is possible I would appreciate knowing how to have a co host. If not, I suggest the web client be changed to co host are allowed (guess I should post that in the suggestions to software discussion).

Thanks,
Sue

Hi Sue,

I am sorry, but I don't know why your team match might have timed out. To the best of my knowledge nothing has changed in this area.

You can assign a co-host in the web-client by editing the team match after it has been created. A dialog box will appear that will allow you to add additional co-host(s). There are various ways you can edit a team match, but perhaps the easiest is through the "Director" tab on the right side of the screen. Let me know if you can't figure this out.

To add a co-director you put the tilde sign between the names of the directors. thus redcato8~whoever etc The time issue I cannot help with, never had a match run out of time

This applies only to the Windows client.

The web-client has a graphical interface for specifying TDs.

Thank you very much for your prompt replies. I will see if I can figure out the edit that you mention Fred as the tilda to add a cohost, I believe, only works on the downloaded PC software.

I guess the time out will remain a mystery. I will post if it happens again and try to have a time frame. It looks as though we were about one and a half hours into an eight board team match.

does your TM had barometer on ?
if not, you may see clock, instead of IMPs/BAM/TP comparasion etc.

so if you start with barometer off and 8 boards in example, you should see initial time 55 minutes left ?
which means default time 7 min per board.

Georgi,

My team match had the barometer on. I have only ever set at team match with the web browser and I have never seen any mention of time. It remains a mystery but thanks for your thoughts.
