There's a new forum software coming. Things will probably look a bit different, as there are some new functions and changes planned.

One of the major changes is in forum account registration. Instead of using a different BBO username/password, we've combined the registration so there is no need to register for a different forum account. Instead, you login to forum via your BBO username and password.

This change should not affect many existing forum goers. We think the conflict comes about if a forum user is currently using a forum name that is also a BBO name that does not belong to them, but belongs to someone else.

In that case, it may be possible to resolve the problem. Email support, and we will try to help. It may not be possible (eg, the BBOer is an active BBOer, not a long lost one), and in that case, the forum user will probably need to change his familiar forum moniker.

However, we feel confident this particular problem will not affect most forum goers, and that we can help the few who may face this issue.

New forums could be up in a few days time. We'll list the new features when it's actually here, but it's all looking pretty sweet!
