I dislike both 3H and 3NT. North described his hand; South didn't.

Some north's might have bid 2♦ if its not GF.
However south's bidding is very poor:
1. South has another suit
2. South could have been weaker for 3♥
3. Even with a spade stopper south is not completely suitable for 3NT.
Doesn't one of the Scandinavian countries have a tradition about shouting when you go off in 3NT when 6minor is cold. 7minor and you should shout for at least a month I reckon.
However south's bidding is very poor:

South 100%, he didn't show his hand. 3♦ rebid is pretty obvious imo (see other topic).
