Other than vaguely trying to use the LOTT or bid with more shape defend with less, I'm never sure how I should be making these five level decisions (second one I guess is four level decision in sense).

On the second hand I would bid 5D. I neglected to show my diamond support the first time and now partner has rebid them! Both games might make, I hope at least one will.
