I accidentally partnered with a believer in the principle that a 15-17 1nt opening could not contain a doubleton.
The bidding goes:
1 DIAMOND BY PARTNER
i have a samll diamond in diamonds, the ace of clubs and three hearts to the queen, so i bid
1 NT
the opps overcall:
1 SPADE
partner, holding Kx of spades bids:
3NT
she only had 15 hcp, the opps took the first 5 tricks, before i could reach for the oxygen.

Did you explain that it is not legal to bid 1S over 1NT?
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

Other than the irregular 1S bid over 1NT, this is pretty much norm on BBO. Actually I would expect worse. Quite a few times I saw in similar sequences the opener bid 3NT with 13 HCP, not 15.
