After North asks for Aces, South replies 2 aces but North knows this is not correct as he holds 3 aces. West asks how many aces South's bid shows. Does North give their agreed system (2 aces) or is he obliged to pass on all the information available to him ?

North's opponents are not entitled to know what's in North's hand. They are entitled only to an explanation of the partnership agreement as to the meaning of South's bid. So North should tell them that South has shown 2 aces.
