You probably just forgot that option, but anyway, if partner bids 4♦ to your 3♠ you have to try 4♥ instead of sing off in 4♠. It will hardly be worse.

The 3♠ idea is interesting, it keeps the most options open. It's not like we are so sure we belong in hearts with xx.
