Club, prefer a club to a spade if only because we have long spades, opps have bid a slam (and LHO has a lot of red cards) so it seems unlikely that we can set up a second round spade to cash. Hope to set up a club instead.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

The reason for the obvious club: We may take two tricks before they discard all losers on hearts. As we have just a few clubs, it is much more likely to cash two club tricks.

eveything is said, if we just needed 2 fast tricks or nothing spades honnors versus the club "shortness" would make it close, however opps are lacking one ace, so a slow club trick is probably just as good as 2 fast ones.

A club needs KQ (or KJ over dummys Q) and a short enough suit to cash a trick. Or an unlikely K behind dummys Ace.

A spade needs exactly Kx or Kxx (with 22).
