I'd pass given its W/R - +200 may be fine if we dont have game, or perhaps partner can reopen with X, or if he bids 3 we can bid 3NT.

1) I made the "pass" call.... which didn't turn out well here:

2S made which gave us a bottom ( 3% MP ).

[ 5 of 19 tables opened 2S and all in 2S made ]

2) Best ( 2 of 19 tables) was 3NT+1 or a 97% MP top our way

The 2 auctions were:
a) ( 2S ) - 3C - ( p ) - 3NT and

b ) ( 2S ) - X - ( p ) - 3D
     ( p ) - 3NT

3) 7 of 10 got to 4H .. making for 73% ... most didn't have a 2S opening..
our side opened 1C.

... the one table that opened 2S:
( 2S ) - X - ( p ) - 3H
  ( p ) - 4H
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I'll try to post the full deal next ( I've had trouble using the template in the past).

Scoring: MP

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
[ I think I discovered why I had trouble with the template before... I was used to putting a "space" ( with the space bar) between the cards. I didn't "space" this time ... and it worked ] .
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The 2S openings were "inspired" to say the least, but I knew at least one pair played Ogust.

We agree. I am also trying to be a headhunter here at these colors at MP.
