Both Minors after 1NT Bidding

Scoring: IMP

What is the best way to bid these hands East/West pass throughout and North opens a 15-17 NT?

Without any specialized agreements I would just bid 3NT.

A like a 3♦ response showing a GF hand with both minors. Playing four-suit-transfers you don't need a natural 3♦ response.

1N-3D(55 minors, GF)
3N(no interest in minors)-pass (fair enough)

I'd be bidding 1NT-3D-3NT as well (using same gadget as Helene).

I would bid 3N on that hand, my methods for these cater for slightly better hands where there is real slam interest.

Yes you show your hand if you can, or you bid 3NT if you can't. Seems simple.

Hi,

a always, this depends on your system.

With no special agreements in place 1NT - 3NT is best,
otherwise, if you have a bid to show both minor or ask
for p better minor, use it.
We play 2NT as 5-5(4) in the minor.

Why are we trying to show our hand shape here instead of just bidding 3N? How good a shot do we really have at slam?

I'm relatively inexperienced at hand visualization during bidding, but using the general guideline to explore/invite slam if a perfect minimum for partner makes slam laydown...then what is that perfect minimum hand here for partner? I can't find one.

Don't think anyone is talking about slam, what is wrong with bidding to 5m when it is cold and 3NT doesn't make?
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.
