I've never played with GIB, but a friend who does play with GIB has asked me a question.

In GIB Money Bridge, it is permissible to take advantage of GIB partner's tempo?

Playing normal bridge, the answer is of course no (Law 73 and Law 16B refer) but is GIB Money Bridge normal bridge?

I think it's permissible just because there is no recourse for your opponent taking advantage, so you may as well do the same. In real life there are directors you can call if you think your opponent acted against the laws, but since those are not the conditions of money bridge, I think the only way not to handicap yourself (especially at higher limits) is to just say anything goes, with the understanding that your opponent is also allowed to do this, and that it is in fact one of the valuable skills of playing with GIB.

You can certainly draw a lot of inferences from GIB's tempo e.g. when it seems to simulate whether to play the 5 spot or 3 spot from 53 in trumps. I may exaggerate a little.
