2♦ is explained as "Takeout double -- 4+C; 2-D; 2-H; 4+S; 14-20 total points".

I expect this is a modern treatment/style that I'm not familiar with, so... how would East show other combinations of suits? He would have doubled the first time with both majors, but what about ♣/♦, ♣/♥, and ♦/♥?
