imps, all white, I don't think the specific hands are relevant to the question here
1♣ - [P] - 2♣* - [4♦];
?
* 2♣ was an inverted raise.
what would you take 4 of either major as?
what would you take 5♦ as?
how about 6♣?
(I suppose I am curious about what ♦ holdings you would expect for the various calls)

Length and strength and slam try; may or may not have a diamond control.
First round control and grand try.
A punt.
First round control and grand try.
A punt.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

I'll post my thoughts on those bids, and people are free to yell at me for, essentially, a selfish bump
I think:
- 4M is a cue with no info about the ♦ holding
- 5♦ is a grand try with a first round control in the suit
- 6♣ is likely an agricultural bid, though it should show a 2nd round ♦ control, most likely a singleton in this case.

I thought the 6♣ bid was a transfer bid to be completed by LHO or RHO

With a stiff diamond wouldn't you always go through 4N first?
Generally jumping to slam opposite an unlimited partner when you have keycard available implies a void somewhere.
Admittedly I don't know what hands I would jump to 6C with.
edited: took out the last part because i am retarded

Hmm, I expected you to play pass NF. Wrongly so!
and the result can be plotted on a graph.
