my vote is definitely on plain text, since it was better than most plain text signatures but now it's definitely on the low end of jpg possibilities.

thoughts?

jjbrr's pictures are generally spot on, but too large to serve as a signature.

This one I don't understand.

But other things being equal I prefer text to graphics, just to save a little bandwidth.
