All vul, imp scoring.

Sitting East, you pick up this fine collection and hear:

(P)-P-(2♥)-

you decide to double here, and the auction continues:

X-

(p)-3♣-(3♥)-?

Over to you.

Are we playing lebensohl?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

xxx
Kxx
Kxxxx

and we get a heart ruffed playing clubs.

No. (technically, it's undiscussed, so I would not assume that we are)

How about discussing lebensohl and then you can come back and give us an interesting bridge hand? I would definitely assume lebensohl when playing in North America. Now we not only have to guess whether partner's 3C shows values, we also have to guess whether partner thinks he has shown values. If he does and he has an 8-count, he won't cooperate with any of our slam tries. If he thinks he has not he will probably cooperate with a useful 5-count. It's a big mess that is unsolvable when not knowing partner.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

Your partner is a regular intermediate forum poster who asked you to play on a moment's notice. Sorry if that offends your sense of interesting. I'm just presenting things as they happened. And that, in and of itself, is what made it interesting. For me, anyway.

Feel free to assume whatever you wish, but without agreement, doing so would be completely foolish, regardless of where you are playing.'

(and fwiw, 3C was not a positive leb. response as it turned out)

I'd double if I have no clue of what is going on, at least partner has a chance to clarify

An easy 6 playing Leb, a nailbiter if not. I guess that's "interesting," in a way... I likely gamble on 6C anyway.

An undiscussed and therefore nonforcing 3♠, expecting the weak 2 bidder to double this, when my plan is to redouble and play there making a large score. Obvious really.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

But that's not a bridge problem, it's guessing how much your partner knows. Which is sometimes fun at the table but not fun on the forums when we don't even know your partner.

Anyway, I would probably assume Lebensohl - then when we have a misunderstanding partner will learn that he should assume Lebensohl when playing with advanced or better players, rather than learning he should not assume Lebensohl.
